Gabriel Bolanos, incoming eighth-grade student at Aragon Middle School, is honored at the Duke TIP 7th Grade Talent Search 2016 Grand Ceremony, held May 16 at Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium. Bolanos was one of 18 CFISD seventh-grade students recognized.
July 14, 2016—Eighteen incoming eighth-grade students were recognized by the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) 7th Grade Talent Search in the spring for meeting the grand level qualifying score criteria.
The students, who were identified for their strong intellectual abilities, were honored at the 2016 Grand Ceremony, held May 16 at Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium.
To qualify for grand recognition, students were required to meet or exceed the following testing standards:
Seventh-grade students were initially invited for participation in the TIP 7th Grade Talent Search by scoring at or above the 95th percentile on the STAAR assessment.
